Chastity Mathurin serves as the Special Education Department Lead at Friendship Public Charter School since August 2021, where responsibilities include developing specialized instructional plans for students with disabilities, managing curriculum implementation for over 150 learners, and providing professional development to educational personnel. Prior experience includes the role of Math Accessibility Specialist at Boston Public Schools, focusing on differentiated curriculum design and technology integration, as well as Special Education Learning Specialist at Boston Prep, where compliance with special education laws and IEP management were key responsibilities. Chastity Mathurin holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Providence College.
