Toni Graves Williamson is an accomplished educator and advocate for equity and inclusion, currently serving as the Director of Equity and Inclusion at Friends Select School since August 2018. With over two decades of experience in various educational roles, Toni co-directs and facilitates The Race Institute for K-12 Educators and has been a founding faculty member and cohort leader with the National Diversity Practitioners Institute since 2014. Previous positions include Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Abington Friends School, where significant initiatives included establishing the school as a diversity leader and creating programs that foster self-reflection and community engagement. Toni's early career involved teaching at Carolina Friends School, where core subjects and electives were taught, along with leading multicultural curriculum development. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Columbia University and a Master’s in Middle Grades Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, complemented by a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Duke University.
