Ariel Moger serves as the Government and Political Affairs Director for Friends of the Earth U.S., leading federal advocacy efforts and strategic direction for both Friends of the Earth and Friends of the Earth Action since April 2018. Moger's extensive experience includes previous roles such as Government and Political Affairs Manager and Legislative and Political Coordinator, where advisory and administrative lobbying duties were performed. Prior to joining Friends of the Earth, Moger contributed to Oceana as a Policy Fellow and Policy Intern, and consulted for the Institute for Sustainable Communities and the City of Miami Beach on environmental initiatives and policy strategies. Academic credentials include a Master of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law and Graduate School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University.
