Mary Isabel Sales is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in mentorship, education, and community support. Currently serving as a Bilingual Professional Mentor at Friends of the Children Austin, Sales previously held roles such as Spanish Literacy Tutor at Literacy First, Out of School Time Teaching Artist at Creative Action, and Youth Counselor at Family Resources. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Psychology from Augustana College, complemented by minors in Sociology and Theatre, Sales has developed skills in tutoring, community building, and trauma-informed care while also gaining valuable experience in hospitality and student support services.
