Kaitlin Habekost is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at New Horizon Counseling Center since October 2020. Prior to this position, Kaitlin gained valuable experience as a Waitress at Friendlys Restaurant, where responsibilities included customer service, cleanliness, and leadership in training new employees. Kaitlin possesses a robust background in mental health through internships at Hope For Youth, Inc., and South Oaks Hospital, where group facilitation and individual counseling were key roles. Additionally, volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club of Schenectady and having research assistant roles at the Cognitive Psychology Lab and Child and Family Experiences Project further contributed to Kaitlin's comprehensive skill set in psychology and mental health. Kaitlin holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Molloy University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University at Albany.
