Mary Beth Harvey is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in mental health, education, and community advocacy. Currently serving as Co-founder and Chief Wellness Officer at Friended, since March 2020, Harvey focuses on fostering authentic connections through a social platform. As a member of the Board of Directors for The Jed Foundation, Harvey contributes to empowering teens and young adults to achieve healthy development. Additionally, Harvey is an International Advisory Board Member at the Columbia-WHO Center for Global Mental Health, promoting innovative approaches to global mental health issues. Harvey has held several advisory roles, including with NYC-Parents in Action, and has a background in education and research, having worked with organizations like HOMER, Families and Work Institute, and the Columbia University National Center for Children in Poverty. Harvey holds an M.S.ED from Bank Street College of Education and a B.A. in Sociology/Education from Wheaton College Massachusetts.
