Andrew Haynes has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Andrew currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Engineering at Friend MTS since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant/Director at Black Marble from April 2017 to June 2023, where they focused on tuServ, a mobile policing application. From 2015 to 2017, Andrew held the role of Principal Engineer/Technical Director at Cisco, specifically in the OCTO, Service Provider Video Software and Solutions department. Before that, they served as the Senior Manager of SPVTG Professional Services at Cisco Systems from 2013 to 2015. Andrew's experience also includes working as the Director of Professional Services at NDS Ltd. from 2010 to 2012, and as the Director of Operations and Director of STB Integration at NDS Ltd. (US) from 2006 to 2010. Andrew began their career at Pace in various roles such as Project Manager and Software Team Leader from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they held the position of Director at Black Marble and Technical Manager at Gamester Multimedia Ltd. Overall, Andrew Haynes has accumulated a wide range of expertise and leadership experience throughout their career.

Andrew Haynes completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electronics, Communication and Computer Engineering from the University of Bradford from 1986 to 1990. Andrew then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in the field of Semi-automated image analysis of the tensile deformation of solid polymers from the same university between 1990 and 1994.
