Prisca Liberali is a seasoned researcher and academic currently serving as a Senior Group Leader and Assistant Professor at the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research since June 2015. Prior to this, Prisca held the position of Postdoc at the University of Zurich from January 2011 to June 2015 and worked as a Postdoc at the Institute of Molecular Systems Biology in Zurich from May 2008 to January 2011. In 2010, Prisca contributed as a visiting scientist at the Hubrecht Institute, Developmental Biology and Stem Cell Research. The early career includes a PhD undertaken at Consorzio Mario Negri Sud from February 2004 to May 2008. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Chemistry from Sapienza Università di Roma (1998-2003) and an Associate of Science from the European School, Bruxelles (1990-1998).
