Lauren Nickerson, MCM, APR, currently serves as the Associate Vice President for University Marketing and Communications at California State University, Fresno, a position held since January 2022. Previously, Lauren was the Director of Marketing and Communications at Central California Faculty Medical Group and University Centers of Excellence from November 2016 to January 2022, where responsibilities included strategic communications advising to the Board of Directors and CEO, as well as collaboration on graduate medical education initiatives. Previously, Lauren also held roles as Communications and Marketing Manager at Hinds Hospice, where marketing strategies advanced agency goals and community visibility, and as Fund Development Coordinator at the same organization, focusing on comprehensive end-of-life care. Lauren's educational background includes a Master of Communication Management from the University of Southern California and a BA in Mass Communications and Journalism from California State University, Fresno.
