Dušan Šarenac has a diverse and extensive work experience in software engineering. Dušan currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer and Tech lead at FreshBooks since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at FreshBooks from December 2020 to April 2022. Before joining FreshBooks, Dušan served as a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer at RT-RK from July 2019 to December 2020. Dušan also gained experience as a Software Engineer at HYCU, Inc. from 2018 to July 2019. Notably, Dušan spent a significant part of their career at Comtrade Software, where they worked as a Software Engineer from April 2013 to March 2018. Dušan also had earlier roles as a Student Worker at Comtrade Solutions Engineering d.o.o. and as a Student Intern and Student Teacher at Comtrade ITSS in 2012.

Dušan Šarenac completed their Master's Degree in Physicist with Applied Informatics from the University of Kragujevac, starting in 2004 and graduating in 2011.
