Vice President Of Community Impact at Fresh Lifelines for Youth (FLY)

Kassa Belay currently serves as the Vice President of Community Impact at Fresh Lifelines for Youth (FLY), a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Bay Area youth affected by the justice system. Prior experience includes serving as the Executive Director of The Brownsville Partnership, focusing on health and economic mobility in Brownsville, Brooklyn, and co-directing initiatives at SCO Family of Services aimed at improving outcomes for young children and families. Kassa Belay has also held positions at the City of New York’s Administration for Children's Services, where responsibilities included managing community collaborations, and at the New York Juvenile Justice Initiative, where efforts targeted improvements in the youth justice system. Educationally, Kassa Belay holds a Master's degree in Urban Policy from The New School and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Concordia University.
