Ahmed Mahameed has extensive work experience in marketing and management roles within the healthcare industry. Ahmed started their career in 2001 as a staff nurse in the ICU and dialysis units at Jordan Hospital. Ahmed then joined King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre as a staff nurse in the hemodialysis unit. In 2008, Ahmed transitioned to sales and clinical application consulting at Fresenius Medical Care, where they introduced new data management systems for hemodialysis and provided training and marketing support. In 2013, they joined Kimal GmbH as a regional sales manager and clinical application consultant, achieving several awards for launching successful products. Ahmed returned to Fresenius Medical Care in 2016, assuming various roles including regional product and marketing manager for the MEA region. Currently, they hold the position of head of marketing, events, and application at Fresenius Medical Care Middle East.
Ahmed Mahameed holds an MBA degree from the University of Northampton, which they obtained from 2013 to 2014. Ahmed also pursued a CIM diploma in professional marketing at Oxford College of Marketing from 2016 to 2017. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Education from the University of Jordan, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Ahmed also has a Master's degree in Business from the University of Northampton, which they obtained from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained a certification in Digital Marketing: Customer Engagement, Social Media, Planning & Analytics from Emeritus in 2021.
