Erik Anspach currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Financial Controller at Freres Lumber Co., Inc. since March 2019, after a lengthy tenure as CFO at Bison Engineering, Inc. from August 2006 to March 2019. At Bison Engineering, Erik oversaw all accounting functions, served on the management team, advised the board of directors, and led company ESOP and 401k plans. Erik's previous experience includes working as an Independent Consultant at Alvarez & Marsal, where oversight of accounting operations for companies in bankruptcy was a key responsibility. Prior to that, Erik was the Controller/Treasurer at BFA Liquidation Trust, managing accounting staff and navigating Chapter 11 bankruptcy processes. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management with a concentration in Accounting from Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business.
