Avi Glijansky

Co-Founder / Chief Production Officer at Frequency Machine

Avi Glijansky has over a decade of experience in the media and entertainment industry. Avi is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Production Officer of both Cerca Travel and Frequency Machine. With Cerca Travel, Avi oversees the development of podcasts and audio experiences, as well as operations. Similarly, they oversee the development of podcasts and audio experiences across multiple genres and platforms at Frequency Machine.

Before their current roles, Avi worked as a Writer/Director/Producer at Highway 9 Pictures, where they created shorts, web series, and branded content. However, this role is currently on hold as Avi focuses on their work with Frequency Machine.

Avi also served as an Executive Producer at Detour.com, where they worked on developing location-based content. Avi was responsible for overseeing producers and associate producers for US cities/content and also wrote scripts and directed VO sessions.

Their other experiences include working as a Production Manager at Find Your True North, LLC, where they coordinated logistics and preparations for an independent feature film, and as a 1st Assistant Director/2nd Unit Director at Google and CreatorUp, where they scheduled shoots and directed b-roll scenes.

Additionally, Avi has worked as a Production Manager at Avanti Media, a Production Coordinator at Canvas Media Studios, and an Associate Producer at Figura Media, LLC. Avi has also served as an instructor at CreatorUp, teaching a course on making short films.

Throughout their career, Avi has demonstrated strong leadership, organizational, and creative skills, contributing to the success of the various projects they have been involved in.

Avi Glijansky started their education at Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy, where they attended from 1992 to 1998. However, no degree or specific field of study was mentioned during this period. Following that, Avi pursued their Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Film and Television from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts, from 1998 to 2003.
