Nora Maki is an accomplished piano instructor and pianist with extensive experience in both education and entertainment. Currently serving as a Piano Instructor at the French American International School in San Francisco since January 2015, Nora teaches private lessons to students ranging from beginners to late intermediate levels, focusing on music reading, theory, technique, and listening skills across various genres. In addition to teaching, Nora has been performing as a Lounge Pianist at Zingari Ristorante since October 2007, providing jazz entertainment in a duo format. Previous performance roles include serving as a lounge jazz pianist with trios and quartets for Celebrity Cruises, Inc. from January to September 2009, and as a lounge pianist and vocalist at Hotel New Otani from January 1984 to December 1988.
