Alison Coy has extensive experience in the field of education. Alison started their career at Wilcox High School in 1997 as an English and AVID teacher. Alison later became a Vice Principal in 2001, and held this role until 2004. In 2004, they moved on to work as an Assistant Principal at Cupertino High School for three years. Since 2007, Alison has been with the Fremont Union High School District, initially serving as the Coordinator of Educational Options for ten years. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Educational Options.
Alison Coy's education history begins with their attendance at Palo Alto High School, although the specific dates are unknown. After completing high school, they went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Literature from American University, graduating in 1996. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Education at UC Santa Barbara from 1996 to 1997. Finally, Alison furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Administration- Urban High School Leadership from San Jose State University, completing their studies from 2000 to 2002.
