Stuart Blackie is a seasoned professional in real estate investment and management with extensive experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Currently, Stuart serves as the Managing Director for Europe at Fremont Group, overseeing investments in self-storage platforms across several European countries. Prior to this, Stuart was a Consultant at Blackie Consulting, supporting real estate operations and asset management for Fremont. Previous roles include Vice President of Asset Management at Fremont Group, where Stuart managed a diverse portfolio of real estate investments, and Director of Capital Markets at Shurgard Self Storage, handling significant capital transactions. Stuart's career began at Credit Suisse First Boston in real estate investment banking. Educational qualifications include an Associate Membership in Management Accounting from CIMA and a Bachelor of Management Studies in International Management, Finance, and Accounting from The University of Waikato.
