Michell Barrett has a strong background in product development and software. From 2012 to present, they have been the Director of Product at FreightTrain, leading 12 successful software product releases and implementing impactful product strategies using data analysis. They have improved access to company data and streamlined the KPI dashboard creation process.

Prior to FreightTrain, Michell worked at HTS, LLC from 2008 to 2021, where they held the position of Helpdesk Supervisor & Software Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for QA testing and management, as well as introducing an embedded analytics tool and improving internal applications. They also enhanced user onboarding and data retrieval processes.

Michell Barrett obtained their Associate degree in Computer Aided Drafting & Design from ITT Technical Institute, which they completed between 1996 and 1997. Later, between 2015 and 2022, they pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Project Management at Capella University.
