Rob Gardiner is an experienced finance professional specializing in commodities and foreign exchange. Currently serving as an Iron Ore futures broker and Tanker Freight Derivatives broker at Freight Investor Services since December 2017, Rob brings extensive expertise in the trading sector. Prior to this role, Rob worked at Sunrise Brokers from January 2013 to August 2017 as an FX Options Broker with a focus on Emerging Market FX Options. Rob also worked at BGC Partners from 2007 to November 2012 as an FX Options Interdealer Broker, covering European emerging markets with a focus on flow and exotic products. Before entering the finance industry, Rob was a touring professional golfer from January 2005 to April 2007, competing on the Euro and US Tours and achieving success in satellite tour events. Educational background includes attendance at Ardingly College from 1999 to 2001 and Holmewood House.
