Robert Carter has worked as a Lead Information Security Officer at the Information Commissioner's Office since January 2023. Prior to that, they were a Cyber Security Analyst at Network Plus from July 2022 to September 2022. Robert also worked as a Masters Student at The University of Manchester from September 2018 to July 2022.

Robert Carter earned a Master's degree in Mathematics from The University of Manchester from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, they studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Chemistry at Winstanley College from 2016 to 2018. Their earlier education was completed at Birchwood Community High School from 2011 to 2016.
