Tessa Mortensen has worked as an Engineer 1 and Engineer 2 at Freese and Nichols, starting in August 2022. Tessa also has experience as a Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Missouri University of Science and Technology, where they worked from August 2021 to May 2022.

Tessa Mortensen has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Petroleum Engineering, which was obtained from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. Tessa completed their undergraduate studies from 2015 to 2020. Following their bachelor's degree, Tessa pursued further education and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Geological Engineering from the same university, beginning in 2021 and finishing in 2022.
