Rachel Adkisson, PE began their career in 2013 as an Intern at Jacobs. Rachel then joined Freese and Nichols in the same year as an Intern/Co-op. Rachel continued to work at Freese and Nichols after graduating, starting as a Project Engineer in 2018.

Rachel Adkisson, PE has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering, which they obtained from The University of Texas at Austin. Rachel pursued this degree from 2016 to 2017. Prior to their master's degree, Rachel earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering from Southern Methodist University. Rachel completed their undergraduate studies from 2011 to 2016. In addition to their degrees, Rachel has obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in April 2021.
