Melissa Meyer began their career as a Front Desk Manager at Arbor Hotels in August 2012 and held this position until May 2016. Melissa then joined Target in June 2016 as an Executive Team Leader-Guest Experience. In August 2019, they transitioned to the role of Executive Team Lead Human Resources and held this position until December 2022. Melissa currently works at Freese and Nichols as a Human Resources Business Partner, a position they started in December 2022.

Melissa Meyer attended Abilene Christian University from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management. Additionally, in May 2022, they obtained a Food Safety Manager Certification from Steritech.
