Muataz S. is an experienced engineering professional with expertise in process engineering and automation, currently serving as Associate Director of Process Engineering at Linde Engineering since February 2023 and as Principal Process Engineer at Freeport LNG since May 2021. Muataz has previously held roles such as Staff Process Engineer at Cheniere Energy, Sr Process Engineer at Amec Foster Wheeler, and Process Control/Automation Engineer at Optima Technologies, Inc., specializing in LNG production facilities, industrial gases, and refining processes. Education includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Baghdad, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Technology - Iraq.
