Mahitha Thammareddy has a diverse range of work experience spanning different industries and roles. Their most recent position was as the Director of Software Engineering at Freenome, starting in July 2023. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, including Director of Engineering and Director of Software Engineering. From 2020 to 2022, Mahitha worked at Abbott, first as the Head of Systems and Cloud Development and then as the Associate Director of Systems and Test Engineering. They also held leadership positions at Dexcom and Hospira. Their earlier experience includes roles at Hospira (a Pfizer Company), Cymer, and Ford Motor Company.

Mahitha Thammareddy obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Control Systems from West Virginia University from 2005 to 2008.
