Adam E. Rakestraw, J.D., is a seasoned professional in the MedTech industry, currently serving as Cofounder, Chairman, and Chief Business Development Officer at MediView XR, Inc. since April 2017, where innovative use of Augmented Reality is transforming surgical practices. Rakestraw is also a Cofounder of FreeNav, Inc., which develops wireless electromagnetic tracking systems for surgical navigation. Prior experience includes a notable tenure at Medtronic, managing various interventional therapies and receiving multiple awards for performance, along with roles in legal and corporate positions at RAKESRAW & RAKESTRAW, LLC and Merck. Rakestraw holds a Juris Doctorate with Distinction from Ohio Northern University and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.
