Erin Costello has a long and varied work experience. In 2008, they began working as a Creative Writing Instructor at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where they designed course curriculum, lesson plans and assignments. In 2009, they became a Co-Founder, Editor, and Designer (volunteer) at SpringGun Press, where they read, selected, and proofread literary submissions for online and print publications. In 2011, they began working at Mobile Electronics Specialists of America (M.E.S.A.) as a Marketing Manager, where they managed, created, and executed marketing campaigns for the company's 250 car audio accessory/consumer electronics buying and marketing group. Erin also wrote all web copy, TV Commercial scripts, social media posts, ad copy, e-blast copy, and press releases for the group. In 2013, they became a Digital Art Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they taught Intermediate Digital Art 2 to upper division Art majors. In 2016, they became a Guest Author for WordStream and a Director of Marketing for Freemans Car Stereo, where they created, implemented, executed, and measured all marketing initiatives for the regional car accessory retail chain w/eCommerce. In 2018, they returned to Mobile Electronics Specialists of America (M.E.S.A.) as the Director of Marketing & Operations, where they were responsible for in-house operations of aftermarket car accessories buying and marketing group.
Erin Costello received their M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Colorado Boulder between 2008 and 2011. Erin then obtained their B.A. in English from the University of California, Davis between 2001 and 2005. In May 2020, they achieved their Google Ads Search Certification from Google. Erin is also in the process of obtaining their Search Engine Optimization Certification from the Rocky Mountain Search Engine Academy.
