Karaline is a FreemanGroup Project Manager who is responsible for new business development and marketing. Karaline also manages the firm’s processes around project coordination and client relationship management.
Karaline received her Baccalaureate degree in Psychology and Child and Family Studies from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette during which time she worked in both the healthcare and hospitality industries. Upon completion of her degree, Karaline started the position of a Lead Case Manager for a non-profit organization focused on increasing health outcomes for minority populations. She was recognized at the National WIC Conference and the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs for her collaboration in increasing participant experiences and health outcomes through incorporating technology and social-emotional support.
Understanding a greater need in healthcare to focus on meeting patient’s where they are and understanding their experiences, Karaline decided to shift her career from social services to healthcare and obtained her Master’s in Healthcare Administration from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette. Karaline’s experience working in healthcare includes the position of Managed Care Specialist for Louisiana Healthcare Group focusing on process and efficiency improvements within the company’s database management systems. Karaline’s practical knowledge in healthcare also stems from her role as a Practice Manager in which she was responsible for managing the administration team tasked with building a new medical practice through establishing patient relationships and creating a personable patient experience.
Karaline is currently working on becoming a fully certified Life Coach. She is extremely passionate about helping people to achieve more than they believe they can.
