DeAnna Garza has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 1994, they worked at Charles Clark Chevrolet as an Administrative Assistant and Art Coordinator, where they managed marketing efforts, coordinated art exhibitions, and oversaw the production of special communication projects. In 2015, they interned at UTPA Alumni Relations. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce as the Director of Special Events and later as the Director of Marketing and Special Events. In 2021, they joined the Boys & Girls Clubs of America as an Events and Volunteer Manager, a role they continued until 2023. Most recently, starting in 2023, they became the Director of Booking at Freeman Coliseum. Throughout their career, DeAnna Garza has gained valuable experience in event management, marketing, and public relations.
DeAnna Garza has a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication/Public Relations with a minor in Marketing from The University of Texas-Pan American, which they completed from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Black Hills State University from 1993 to 1994, but they did not obtain a degree during that time.
