Mary Allen is an experienced professional in graphic design and education, currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Metropolitan Community College since February 2022, where Mary teaches Typography I. Prior to this role, Mary held positions including Senior Digital Designer and Digital Graphic Designer at Scooter's Coffee, along with freelance design work since August 2019. Previous graphic design roles were completed at Emspace + Lovgren, Hayneedle.com, and as a graphic design intern. In addition to design experience, Mary contributed significantly to AIGA Nebraska as Vice President and Director of Communication. Mary's leadership abilities were also showcased as Co President and Third Vice President of the Washington Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization, where fundraising efforts exceeded $11,000. Earlier professional experiences include work as a Computer Lab Technician, a childcare provider, and a Teller at Pinnacle Bank. Mary holds education credentials from Metropolitan Community College, the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and Ralston High School.
