Yu Sun is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various roles since 2010. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at FreedomPay, Yu Sun oversees the maintenance and support of both the Freeway commerce connect service and the Pay At Table system, while leading a dedicated team. Prior to this, Yu Sun worked at Gem Certification & Assurance Lab, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on enhancing the Amazon jewelry QA Program and optimizing database efficiency. Previous positions include Software Engineer roles at Rochester Institute of Technology and Markem-Imaje, along with experience as a research assistant. Yu Sun holds a Master’s degree in Network Security & System Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Beijing Institute of Technology.
