Angus Whyte currently serves as Head of Merchandise Operations at Freedom Australia, where responsibilities include leading and managing product teams in areas such as Buying, Dropship, Merchandise Operations, and Design since July 2023. Prior to this role, Angus was Head of Dropship, overseeing the commercial dropship team for a new business channel at Freedom. Angus's extensive experience includes serving as Vice President of Country Merchandising in Australia and Vice President of Global Merchandising at West Elm from August 2013 to February 2023, leading in-market buying and visual teams and guiding global growth strategies. Earlier roles include Director and Senior Buyer in Global Merchandising at West Elm and various positions at Freedom Australia, beginning as a Buyer in Furniture. Angus holds a Master of Business in Accounting from The University of Sydney Business School and a Bachelor of Industrial Design from the University of Technology Sydney.
