Marcus Groeneveld has over twelve years of work experience. In 2008, they founded Greenrepair. From 2013 to 2015, they were a member of the Bont en Blauw Commitee at S.S.R.- Rotterdam and Co-Founder and President of the foundation, \"Stichting Rotterdam Studentenstad\", and president of SPECTA Festival. In 2015, they worked as an Intern for Continuous Improvement | Lean at Duncan Aviation. In 2016, they worked as an Operational Support at Adyen. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Student Recruiter at Studentflex, Graduate Intern | Risk Assurance | Blockchain at PwC Nederland, Associate at High Potential Academy, and Co-Founder at Ciphix. Since 2020, they have been the CO-CEO of Freeday.ai.

Marcus Groeneveld obtained a Pre University certificate from Het Hageveld College in June 2012. Marcus then attended Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Bedrijfskunde/Business Management/Bedrijfsmanagement in 2016. In the same year, they also earned a Bachelor's degree in Work and Organizational Psychology from Erasmus University Rotterdam. In 2017, they obtained an MSc Business Information Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and a Python for Research certificate from Harvard University. Additionally, they obtained IBM Blockchain Essentials certification from IBM in September 2017.
