Raffaele De Lorenzo is a seasoned developer and engineer with extensive experience in the software industry. Since June 2003, Raffaele has been a contributor to the FreeBSD project. Raffaele held various managerial and technical roles at notable companies, including serving as Senior Software Engineering Manager at Coda Payments from August 2022 to July 2024, and Engineering Manager at Booking.com from December 2018 to July 2022. Raffaele also worked as Software Development Team Lead at Avecto, Technical Lead at ARRIS and Pace, and Technical Lead at A-Tono. Additional roles include System Architect at CCH® Tagetik and System Network and Security Engineer at Sysnet, with consultancy at IntesaSanPaolo Bank. Raffaele began the career as a Software Engineer at Antek and holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Università di Pisa, obtained from 1997 to 2003.
