Bernard Spil is an experienced architect and IT professional currently serving as an Architect at ASML since August 2024. Spil has been a Ports Committer for FreeBSD since May 2015, focusing on maintaining and improving the integration of SSL libraries. Spil has also contributed to several security-related roles, including Security Architect and IT Operations Security Officer at Signify from June 2017 to July 2024. Additionally, Spil has played a significant role in local initiatives as a volunteer core-team member for Coöperatie HSLnet since June 2013. With previous experience at companies such as Philips and Unilever, Bernard Spil has a strong background in enterprise application integration and architecture, complemented by an Engineer's Degree in Chemical Engineering from The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
