Shaun Healey has worked in a variety of roles since 1999. Shaun began their career at Verenium Corp. as a Staff Scientist and Scientist. In 2011, they joined bp as a Ventures Partner, Ventures Principal, Ventures Associate, and Technology Portfolio Manager. In 2018, they began serving as a Non Executive Director for PartsTech, Zippity, Inc., Satelytics, and IoTecha Corp. In 2022, they began serving as a Non Executive Director for Freebee and FreeWire Technologies.

Shaun Healey attended the University of California, San Diego - Rady School of Management from 2009 to 2011, where they earned an MBA. Shaun also attended UC Santa Barbara from 1994 to 1999.
