Farrha Khan has a diverse work experience spanning over 10 years. Their most recent role is as a Narrative Designer at Free Range Games which they started in July 2021. Prior to this, Farrha worked as a Freelance Writer, Editor, and Moderator/Speaker, providing their services to various clients independently starting from March 2018.
Between October 2019 and June 2021, Farrha was employed as a Copywriter at Orange County United Way. Before that, from June 2017 to March 2018, they worked at Ingram Micro Cloud as a PR & Communications Manager and later as a Copywriter & Content Creator. At Ingram Micro Cloud, they successfully executed PR strategies, secured news coverage, and developed relationships with key industry analysts. Farrha also managed copywriting, content creation, and speaker coordination for the division's annual Cloud Summit event.
Prior to joining Ingram Micro Cloud, Farrha worked as a Lead Content Developer at Centercode from April 2016 to February 2017. During this time, they helped establish the company's thought leadership and implemented a consistent company voice.
From June 2015 to December 2016, Farrha worked as a Freelance Journalist for techradar.com, providing daily news coverage, contributing features, and covering events and conferences.
Before their freelance work, Farrha was the Editor of techradar.com at Future Publishing Australia from June 2013 to September 2014. Farrha also worked as a Writer and Subeditor at CBS Interactive from April 2012 to May 2013, contributing and editing articles for various publications.
At the beginning of their career, Farrha worked as a Contributing Writer for Filmink Magazine at FKP Universal Exports P/L from September 2006 to September 2012, where they critiqued films and covered local film production news. From April 2010 to March 2012, they were also a Contributing Writer for Indian Link.
Farrha Khan completed their education in a chronological manner. Farrha first attended Macleay College from 2006 to 2007, where they earned a Diploma in Journalism. Following that, they enrolled at Southern Cross University from 2007 to 2008, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media and Communications. Lastly, Farrha attended the University of Sydney from 2008 to 2009, where they pursued a Master's degree in Film Studies. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also obtained a certification in Marketing Storytelling from Orange County United Way in April 2021.
