Gerry Brisson currently serves as the President & CEO of Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan, a position held since January 2014, where responsibilities include serving the community and leading efforts to combat hunger. Previously, Gerry held the role of Senior VP of Advancement at the same organization from March 2006 to January 2014, focusing on fundraising and communication strategies. An Interim Executive Director for the Jesuit Volunteer Corps: Midwest in 2005-2006, Gerry guided the organization through a national consolidation process. From 1999 to 2006, Gerry founded and managed Development Transitions, a consulting practice aiding nonprofits in fundraising and sustainability. Additionally, during tenure as Development Director at the Capuchin Soup Kitchen from 1993 to 1999, Gerry significantly increased private donation revenue. Gerry holds a Master's degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.
