Adam Keim has over 20 years of work experience, starting with their role as a Lead Technology Consultant at UMD Career Services from 2000 to 2002. Adam then moved on to Kroll Ontrack, where they held various positions from 2002 to 2017, including Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Principal Software Engineer/Data Warehouse Architect. At Kroll Ontrack, they played a key role in data warehouse modernization, enterprise data platform consolidation, and ETL modernization. Following their time at Kroll Ontrack, Keim joined UnitedHealth Group as the Director of Software Engineering from 2017 to 2020. In this role, they led multiple scrum teams and implemented Agile Software Development principles. Most recently, Keim worked at Mercury Healthcare, now known as Healthgrades, as the Senior Director of Data Engineering from 2020 to 2023. Adam led a group of onshore and offshore engineers and focused on integrating various types of data to improve patient care. Keim is currently employed as the Vice President of Technology and Innovation at Frazier Healthcare Partners.
Adam Keim completed their MBA in Strategy and IT Management from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management between the years 2005 and 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Computer Science and Organizational Management from the University of Minnesota Duluth, which they attended from 1997 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Adam Keim also holds certifications as a Professional Scrum Developer I from Scrum.org, obtained in October 2012, and as a Certified Business Intelligence Professional from TDWI, obtained in August 2010.
