Larry Young has extensive experience in heavy equipment operation and geological material placement, with a career spanning several decades. Since June 2001, Larry has worked at Frattalone Companies, Inc. as a geological material placement specialist, managing projects and operating heavy machinery. Prior roles include heavy equipment operator positions at M. A. Mortenson Company and Rachel Contracting, Inc., where Larry specialized in site preparation for wind turbine projects and landfill jobs. Larry's career began as a laborer/operator at Central Landscaping and has included significant experience with various equipment at multiple construction and utility companies. After retiring in March 2017, following 10 years in the labor union and 32 years in the operators union, Larry is enjoying personal exploration and leisure activities. Larry's educational background includes training at the Local 49 Training Center, with certifications in hazmat, MSHA, and first aid.
