Nikolas Schmitz is a Research Associate and PhD Student at Uniklinik RWTH Aachen since December 2022, focusing on digital pathology and kidney tissue analysis to enhance diagnosis of kidney diseases. Prior experience includes roles as a Student Assistant at GNS Electronics GmbH and the IT Center RWTH Aachen, where responsibilities involved network operations, configuration of wireless access points, and web application development. Additionally, Nikolas held an intern position in the Automotive Marketing Department at Asahi Kasei. Nikolas holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
