Marcus B. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Marcus began their career at Pacific Beverage Company, where they held various positions, including warehouseman, merchandiser, delivery driver, and route salesman. Marcus then worked as a Sales Representative at Kraft Foods before moving on to Anheuser-Busch Sales, where they served as a Sales Representative and later as a District Sales Manager at R & S Beverage Company.

From 2017 to 2021, Marcus joined McGraw-Hill Education as a Learning Technology Representative, leveraging their knowledge in educational technology to support and provide solutions to customers.

Marcus B. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English at UC Santa Barbara in 2000. Later on, in 2012, they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University.
