Alexis Dickie has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2011, they started their career at Darden Restaurants as a Team Lead & Server, where they provided excellent customer service and worked collaboratively with the service team. From 2013 to 2015, they served as a Volunteer Coordinator at The Firecracker Foundation, managing and engaging volunteers for a local nonprofit.

In 2013, Alexis joined UNDP as an English Instructor/Camp Counselor for the English Opens Doors Program, creating a fun and immersive environment for Chilean secondary students to learn English. Alexis also worked as a Community Outreach Intern and Volunteer Intake Manager at the American Red Cross, where they developed and implemented a new community outreach approach.
