Phillip Martinez has extensive experience in law enforcement and corrections, currently serving as a Police Sergeant for the Franklin Police Department since May 2020, after previously holding the position of Police Officer. Prior to this role, Phillip worked as a Trooper with the Wisconsin State Patrol from April 2018 to May 2020 and underwent training as a State Trooper at the State Patrol Academy between September 2017 and April 2018. Phillip's career also includes serving as a Sergeant at the Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility from November 2016 to September 2017 and as a Correctional Officer for the Wisconsin Department of Corrections from June 2014 to November 2016, where responsibilities included emergency response, inmate supervision, and report writing. Phillip started in the security field as a Security Officer with Allied Barton Security Services and has management experience from a previous role at Restaurant Operations UWM. Additionally, an internship with the Milwaukee Police Department provided exposure to cold case investigations and various police operations. Phillip holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
