Wendy Hacke is an experienced education professional currently serving as a Benchmark Assessment Teacher at Newberg School District since August 2019, focusing on the intellectual and emotional development of students in language arts and math. Prior experience includes overseeing special education departments in Franklin McKinley School District as a Program Specialist from September 2014 to the present, ensuring IEP compliance and educational benefits for students. Wendy has been an Education Specialist with ARUSD since 1983, teaching middle school special education students and has extensive experience across various educational roles, including serving as a Program Administrator for Portland Public Schools and a Professor at National Hispanic University, where course design and child development programs were key responsibilities. Wendy holds a Doctorate in Special Education from the University of San Francisco, earned between 2006 and 2010.
