Katie Bowers is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as Team Lead Mental Health Specialist at Franciscan Children's since January 2022. Previously, Katie worked as a Mental Health Specialist at the same organization, and prior to that, held the position of Direct Care Counselor at Walker Therapeutic & Educational Programs. Katie's career also includes serving as a Mental Health Associate at Arbour Hospital and a School Counseling Intern at Chelsea High School. Earlier experience includes a role as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at The Park School in Brookline, MA. Katie Bowers holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology from Boston College Lynch School and graduated from Boston Latin School with a High School Diploma.
