Richard Walz has extensive experience in quality engineering and assurance, with a focus on the medical industry. Richard most recently served as the Principal Quality Engineering Manager at Francis Medical since February 2022. Prior to that, they held the roles of Principal Quality Assurance Engineer from February 2021 to February 2022 and Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer from April 2018 to February 2021 at Francis Medical. Richard also worked as a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer at NxThera from February 2016 to April 2018. Before joining NxThera, Richard held the position of Sr. Quality Engineer and Inspection Supervisor at HLT, Inc from January 2012 to February 2016. Richard began their career as a Quality Engineer at American Medical Systems in May 2011 and then moved on to become a Quality Engineer II at Boston Scientific from December 2006 to April 2011.

Richard Walz obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, completing their education between 2002 and 2006.
