Melanie Sharick is an experienced educator and coach with a robust career in teaching and athletics. Currently serving as a 5th Grade Classroom Teacher and the Head Coach for the Girls' Varsity Lacrosse team at Framingham Public Schools since September 2017, Melanie has held various teaching roles across elementary grades, including 2nd and 4th grade positions, and has also been a long-term substitute teacher. Additionally, Melanie has extensive experience in coaching, having led 7th grade girls' lacrosse teams with Bay State Bullets and achieved notable success as the Girls' Varsity Head Lacrosse Coach at Watertown High School. With a Master’s Degree in Education from Smith College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Wheaton College, Melanie has developed a strong foundation in both educational methodologies and student engagement.
