Mervat Aly is an instructional coach currently working at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and Framework Consulting since August 2022. Mervat has been a teacher and grade level leader at Alum Rock School District since October 2004, and previously served as a substitute teacher for the Santa Clara Unified School District from September 2000 to June 2004. Mervat holds a Master's degree in Cross Cultural Education from National University, obtained between 2002 and 2004, and a Bachelor of Science in Tourism and Travel Services Management from Helwan University Cairo, completed in 1982.
