Jaana Hatanpää has a diverse range of work experience in marketing and sales roles. Jaana started their career as an International Trainee at Funk Production Ltd in 2010. From there, they worked as a Sales Administrator at ABB during the summers of 2011, 2014, and 2015, gaining responsibility by training and supporting new summer employees. Jaana then took on the role of Marketing Assistant at BtG Event Solutions DMC RUSSIA for a three-month internship in 2011. In 2012, they joined Oy Hedengren Kodintekniikka Ab as a Marketing Assistant, working mainly with consumer electronic brands. In 2014, they returned to ABB as a Sales Administrator before moving on to become a Marketing Manager at Fastems. At Fastems, they focused on strategic marketing, product marketing, events, and communications. Jaana joined Buildie in 2020 as a Marketing Manager, where they built a marketing function from scratch and contributed to the company's growth through brand building and customer insights. Their most recent role is as a Product Marketing Lead at Framery Acoustics, where they contribute to product management, customer success, and marketing initiatives.
Jaana Hatanpää has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Tampere University of Applied Sciences, which they completed from 2007 to 2011. Jaana then pursued a Master's Degree in Innovation Management at the University of Eastern Finland from 2013 to 2015. In 2014 to 2015, they also participated in The Japanese and Asian Studies Program at Ryukoku University, focusing on Japanese language, culture, history, literature, and economics. Most recently, from 2018 to 2020, they completed an education scheme in Service Design, earning 25 credits, at the University of Lapland. Jaana also briefly studied Business Economics at Saint Petersburg State Polytechnical University in 2010.
